In 2002, the founders of CrossCurrent Inc. recognized that inefficiencies and significant lost profits in the manual workflows that characterize the healthcare industry were resulting in reduced revenue and higher costs for both healthcare payers and providers. As a privately funded company CrossCurrent elected to focus on solving these complex problems for orthopedic, spine and neurosurgeons.
Our goal was to unravel the complex rules associated with planning, coding and auditing the payment of surgical claims. CrossCurrent solutions leveraged our knowledge of the complex rules used by Medicare (and most commercial carriers) to calculate the correct payment of these claims. Our INCISIVE solution creates a modern workflow platform based on rules engines that automate and streamline the coding, auditing and reimbursement processes.
