The CMS Physician Quality Reporting Initiative (PQRI), which began on July 1, 2007, has been extended for all of 2008 and has been expanded to 119 quality measures. A voluntary program, PQRI allows eligible physicians who submit applicable measures to receive a bonus payment of up to 1.5% of total allowed charges for covered Medicare physician fee schedule services.
However, many clinics are forgoing this reimbursement bonus because of the additional reporting burden. In order to qualify, claims must contain the appropriate CPT II and G codes, and measures must be reported for at least 80% of cases.
INCISIVE MD allows efficient collection of PQRI data, and reporting demands are easily and consistently met. INCISIVE MD collects all the additional information needed with a few questions and a few clicks, allowing you to realize your full income potential.
